Butterscotch Syrup: Robinson Style

In a Large Pan:
1 1/2 C Buttermilk
3 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Carol Syrup
3 Cubes butter
2 tsp Soda
- Boil 7 minutes
2 tsp Vanilla
